Garrett Smith

Garrett Smith is a Personal Risk Advisor for Swingle Collins & Associates. In his role, he works to create tailored risk solutions for individuals and families, protecting the possessions they value most. Prior to joining Swingle Collins, Garrett served for seven years as the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Dallas. There, he won the 2019 Men’s SCAC Golf Conference Championship and was honored as the 2019 SCAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year. 

Garrett attended Cameron University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He was a four year letter winner on the Aggie’s golf team and received academic all-conference honors. He also served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee whose mission is to enhance the total student-athlete experience.

A Dallas native, Garrett supports several local animal rescues. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Luka, and playing golf.
