Commercial Lines Risk Advisor

Full-Time / Dallas or Fort Worth 

Swingle Collins & Associates is seeking insurance professionals who will focus on providing services to businesses in the DFW area. The candidates we seek feel comfortable prospecting, soliciting, quoting, and selling to senior level executives and business owners. Our agency’s process provides employees with an unparalleled framework for training, development, and personal growth objectives. SCA also provides equity opportunities to individuals who successfully build their book of business. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prospect for business through cold calling, local networks, community involvement, and by developing professional relationships
  • Create and maintain an active new business pipeline
  • Provide professional risk management advice to prospects and clients
  • Create insurance proposals, make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business
  • Obtain information for quotations and market accounts to various insurance carriers with assistance of support staff
  • Interpret complex insurance information and respond appropriately
  • Maintain consistent and high-quality touch points with clients and prospects
  • Respond to referrals quickly and effectively
  • Stay current on trends in the insurance industry and pursue continuing education
  • Accurately maintain prospects, new, and renewal business in the agency management system (EPIC)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Prior B2B experience required
  • P&C License or willingness to obtain
  • College degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to plan, manage, and oversee a book of business
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service attitude
  • Must have the desire for success
  • High degree of self-discipline and motivation
  • Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach

This role acts as the primary contact for clients, handling coverage details in the event of growth or loss. Our agency’s process provides employees with an unparalleled framework for training, development, and personal growth objectives.
