Assistant Account Manager, Employee Benefits

Full-Time/Dallas

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to assigned Producer(s) and Account Manager(s)
  • Maintain client files in Applied Epic / Netdocs in an orderly and up-to-date manner according to Agency standards
  • Work with client support team to develop and manage renewal timelines
  • Assist in managing client/vendor expectations and ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors, and internal partners
  • Assist client support team in client’s renewal life-cycle – gather census information, prepare requests for proposals, coordinate vendor responses & negotiations, create proposal, assist in HRIS platform setup, work with client      and carriers on any new implementations, develop all client deliverables and post-enrollment audits
  • Process eligibility – new hire enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment transactions
  • Day-to-day client service – research and resolve benefits, billing, and/or claims issues, answer client questions thoroughly and timely
  • Claims assistance – walk clients through process, including claim submission to carrier, follow-up, and overall communication

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate (college degree preferred or work-related experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an insurance agency environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Applied EPIC
  • Understanding of employee benefits coverages
  • Valid Employee Benefits Insurance license

Swingle Collins & Associates is seeking insurance professionals who will focus on building customized insurance programs tailored to the specific needs of high-net-worth individuals. This role acts as the primary contact for clients, handling coverage details in the event of growth or loss. Our agency’s process provides employees with an unparalleled framework for training, development, and personal growth objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prospect for business through local networks, community involvement, and by developing professional relationships
  • Create and maintain an active new business pipeline
  • Provide professional risk management advice to prospects and clients
  • Create insurance proposals, make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business
  • Obtain information for quotations and market accounts to various insurance carriers with assistance of support staff
  • Interpret complex insurance information and respond appropriately

Account Manager, Commercial Lines

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to assigned Producer(s)
  • Client Relationships – assist clients with all policy and coverage questions on a day-to-day basis
  • Maintain client files in Applied Epic in an orderly and up-to-date manner according to Agency standards
  • Effectively manage Epic Home Page, to include timely Activity review, documentation and processing
  • Assist in marketing new and renewal business, negotiate rates, review coverages for competitiveness and accuracy, assist in presenting to clients as needed
  • Prepare documents for renewal terms, including proposals, Acord forms, Binders, and Certificates of Insurance
  • Review issued policies for accuracy and appropriate coverages
  • Manage new business workflow
  • Comprehend and interpret Insurance Contract requirements for Certificates
  • Manage renewal list – work renewals in a timely manner and report on status
  • Manage invoicing and account receivables
  • Claims – walk clients through process, including claim submission, follow-up and overall communication
  • Carrier Relationships – establish relationships with key carrier Marketing & Underwriting contacts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • External candidates should have 2-4 years of related Account Manager experience.
  • Understanding of property & casualty coverages, knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures
  • High School Graduate (college degree preferred or work-related experience)
  • Must hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license
  • Related industry designation preferred / Desire to pursue industry designation (CIC, CISR, CPRM, CPCU, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Assistant Account Manager, Commercial Lines

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in renewal process – assist with gathering renewal information, issue Certificates, attaching & labeling forms in CSR-24, issue Auto ID cards, invoicing, prepare summary of insurance and policy checking
  • Process change requests (including follow-up to carriers/brokers), endorsements, cancellations & reinstatements, check requests, premium audits and loss run requests
  • Set up customer portal, including communication to client
  • Assist Accounting Department with invoicing discrepancies and billing issues
  • Claims – walk clients through process, including claim submission/reporting, follow-up as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Graduate (college degree preferred or work-related experience)
