Taylor Jones
Taylor serves as Director of Business Development for Swingle Collins & Associates, where she leads corporate partnership development, brand positioning, and growth strategy. In this capacity, she cultivates referral partnerships with community organizations while overseeing the firm's external event strategy and media relations. Taylor also supports internal culture initiatives, carrier relationship development, and talent acquisition efforts via the firm’s internship program.
Taylor joined the risk management and insurance industry in 2014 when she began working for a large broker in a client service role and gained a strong foundational knowledge of P&C coverages. Recognizing the critical need for strategic talent acquisition in the industry, she transitioned to an HR role as a Recruiting Specialist, overseeing corporate and campus recruitment initiatives for the firm's Texas operations.
Following her internal recruiting experience, Taylor joined an insurance-specific recruiting firm as Campus Recruiting Manager, where she successfully launched a specialized division focused on attracting recent college graduates to the insurance profession. With this firm, Taylor advanced to Vice President of Business Development, leading new business development across all service lines, cultivating strategic client relationships, and directing a sales and marketing team based across the country. Her work provided extensive insight into industry-wide hiring trends, workforce challenges, and the evolving needs of insurance organizations nationwide.
Taylor's contributions to the industry have earned significant recognition, including IICF’s Community Advocate Award, Rising Insurance Star Executive Award, and the Emerging Leader in Insurance Award presented by APCIA, AM Best, and the Insurance Careers Movement. She serves as an Associate Member of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation's (IICF) Southeast Division Board, a Young Risk Professionals (YRP) National Advisory Board Member, and as a RISE Professionals Ambassador.
A Dallas-native and sixth generation Texan, Taylor graduated from the University of Kansas and resides in Dallas with her husband and son. They enjoy traveling overseas whenever possible, particularly to new food and wine destinations, with Taylor hoping to earn her sommelier designation when time permits.
