Jason M. Pond has over 23 years of risk advisory specialization, managing the personal insurance portfolios for some of the most successful and celebrated individuals & families in North America. Licensed in all 50 states, Jason provides a broad footprint, a bespoke approach, and long-term solutions through detailed and thoughtful advisory.
In partnership with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, Jason completed the Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation program, a comprehensive educational curriculum intended for high performing insurance professionals. Pond also secured the Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) certification and designation from the St. John's University School of Risk Management and has been named one of D Magazine's Best Insurance Agents in Dallas, consecutively, since 2011. As a shareholder at Swingle Collins & Associates, he serves as a mentor to the growing personal lines team.
Jason is a content contributor to several industry and HNW-centric publications, and launched a Sports & Entertainment Practice in 2005, insuring the personal risk management programs for professional athletes, coaches, front office staff, entertainers and entrepreneurs. Jason has led forums, lectures and focus groups on insuring executive teams, entrepreneurial business owners, professional athletes & entertainers, exotic & antique auto collectors, family office programs, and multi-generational family risk management planning.
Jason holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the Rawl's College of Business at Texas Tech University. Jason and his family remain involved in a variety of organizations and nonprofit groups, including The Communities Foundation of Texas Advisory Council, Communities in Schools Dallas Region, the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), and the Texas Tech Alumni Association of Dallas. Jason was honored with the Charlie Sammons Service Award by the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD), an organization for which he served on the Board of Directors, Young Agents Executive Committee: Chairman, Chairman Emeritus, and Young Agents Advisory Chairman.
