Jason M. Pond
Jason M. Pond brings more than 25 years of specialized experience in private risk advisory, managing complex personal insurance portfolios for many of the most accomplished individuals and families across North America. Licensed in all 50 states, he delivers a national reach with a highly tailored advisory model and long-term, strategic risk solutions specialty.
In collaboration with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education, Jason earned the Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation—one of the industry’s most rigorous programs for high-performing risk advisors. Pond also holds the Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) designation from the St. John’s University School of Risk Management, and Jason has been recognized by D Magazine as one of Dallas’ Best Insurance Agents since 2011.
As a shareholder at Swingle Collins & Associates, Jason serves as a mentor and strategic resource to the firm’s growing Personal Lines department. A frequent contributor to media, industry, and affluent market publications, Jason is a proven thought leader and has dozens of private studies and whitepapers on a litany of client-facing issues, best practices, and claims evaluations. Pond established a Sports & Entertainment practice in 2005 to serve professional athletes, coaches, front-office executives, entertainers, and entrepreneurial clients. He has led forums, lectures, industry panel discussions, and expert sessions on risk management for affluent families, executive teams, entrepreneurs and business owners, entertainers, high-value vehicle collectors, family office programs, and multigenerational families.
Jason M. Pond earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Pond is an inaugural Tern Mentor for the Rawls College of Business, Red Raider Club member, and an advisory member of the Matador Club. Pond is a tenured youth football coach, school fundraiser, and member of the Wesley Prep Dad’s Club. He and his family remain active in numerous civic and nonprofit organizations, including the Communities Foundation of Texas Advisory Council, Communities in Schools Dallas Region, the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD), the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), the Texas Tech Alumni Association of Dallas, and Highland Park United Methodist Church. Pond is also a recipient of the Charlie Sammons Service Award from the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, where he served on the Board of Directors and held multiple leadership positions within the regional and state-wide Young Agents organizations.
