Swingle Collins & Associates Sponsors 3rd Annual Tarrant County Restaurant Association Slice & Dice Golf Tournament

On Monday, March 25th, 2013 Swingle Collins & Associates sponsored the 3rd Annual Tarrant County Restaurant Association Slice & Dice Golf Tournament at Glen Garden Country Club. The purpose of the annual golf tournament is to benefit the organization’s members and educational culinary programs.

Close to 100 golfers participated in this year’s scramble-style tournament. Prior to the golfers making their way to the greens, Swingle Collins & Associates provided breakfast for tournament attendees. Two of our agents: Katy Lawson (commercial lines) and Ashleigh Cloud (personal lines) served as agency representatives at the 17th hole – the site of the “Closest to the Hole” contest – handing out cigars to golfers and collecting raffle entries for a Jawbone Jambox.

The Tarrant County Restaurant Association strives to promote growth of the restaurant industry by providing educational programs, public awareness campaigns, and grass-roots government affairs initiatives. They are committed to the long-term health of the industry, and are supported by restaurateurs and suppliers of the restaurant industry. TCRA’s focus is to not only provide political support for restaurants, but to raise funds for those who will be the future of the restaurant industry, support community events and hospitality industry-related organizations.
