Swingle Collins Raises $40K for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Tuesday, November 4, 2014 – Frank Swingle, Ed Veale, Houston Harris and Chris Peterie placed 3rd in The Chubb Charity Challenge golf tournament, raising $40,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our agency is a loyal supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and we are so grateful to Chubb Insurance for allowing us to play in this year’s Chubb Charity Challenge on behalf of the Foundation! The tournament consists of two levels of competition – the local tournament, where Swingle Collins & Associates placed 1st and earned the right to move on to the second level of the tournament, the national competition. Nine teams played in this year’s Dallas tournament, raising $22,500 for local charities.
The national competition celebrated its 15th year in 2014. Over 350 teams participated from all over the United States and Canada. Of those 350 teams, 45 qualified for the national competition and out of those 45 teams, Swingle Collins & Associates along with Gary DeLong from Chubb finished 3rd shooting a -37 and raising $40,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
Overall this year’s tournament garnered over $975K to be given to charitable organizations – a nice addition to the over $13M total raised over the 15 years the tournament has been in existence. Swingle Collins is so grateful for the relationship we have with Chubb Insurance that has allowed us the opportunity to be add tomorrows to the lives of those suffering with Cystic Fibrosis, and we join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their mission to one day soon make CF stand for “Cure Found”.
