DALLAS – A medical support platoon in Afghanistan have received food, games and other supplies donated by Swingle Collins & Associates employees. First Lieutenant Patrick Robertson reports that the soldiers “that you sent gifts to, walk and fight alongside of their infantry brothers and help treat the sick and wounded when called upon.” He wrote to the Swingle Collins employees, “Know that your intentions were met –the platoon was overwhelmed and morale is high during this holiday season.”

UNIVERSITY PARK, Texas – Every year across the country, heart attacks and strokes are responsible for killing 50 percent of the firefighters who die while on-duty. For firefighters, being fit is critical. Not only does it lead to a healthier lifestyle, it can help balance out the large amount of physical and mental stress they deal with on a day-to-day basis. However, in this time of stretched resources and budgets, fire departments often struggle to purchase important equipment to help firefighters exercise.
Cincinnati Financial Corp., an Ohio based insurance company has chosen to begin working with a few independent insurance agencies in Texas. This company has "a superior reputation," according to David VanDelinder, executive director of Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
Swingle Collins is one of only a handful of agencies in Dallas chosen to do business with Cincinnati.
Insurance Journal recently noted Swingle Collins as one of a few independent agencies in Texas currently undergoing significant growth.

Each year during the holiday season, Swingle Collins & Associates adopts a soldier. Usually the soldier is a loved one related to an agency employee.
This year, however, Operations Manager Apryl Iley approached America First Insurance to see if one of its employees had a loved on stationed overseas.
She found AFI commercial lines Underwriting Assistant Jill Newsom and her 22-year-old son, Kyle, who serves in a 30-person U.S. Navy Seabees construction battalion currently deployed.
